I’ve had sauerkraut here and there. It didn’t do much for me, really. I always felt like it had a strong taste, which I usually like, but it was so salty. And, since I try to use less sodium in my diet, kraut wasn’t an option for me. Until someone told me about rinsing it. Makes sense, so I bought a bag in the refrigerated section of the store. I like that better than a can, anyway. Now, I rinse it and use it as base for a salad. I can add all the other stuff I like, and the taste doesn’t overpower the dish. It’s an easy way to eat healthy.
